After
surgery there were some complications and he went into
cardiac arrest. The doctors who were working on him were
amazing and they were able to get him back to us. The complications
had such and impact on his kidneys and liver that at that
point they were not sure if Chemo would be an option.
Grant did bounce back and in September 2005 and had his first round of
chemo. Even though his liver was still a little weak the doctors thought
that this was their window of opportunity so Grant decided to take it.
Seven days later on September 19, 2005 at 5:45pm we lost Grant. There
was too much damage to his organs they could just not handle the chemo.
When Grant passed he was surrounded by his loving friends and family.
After fighting for 4 months he was at peace and I saw that. Grant leaves
behind his wife (Melissa),and beautiful daughter (Renee) as well as his
family and friends. Grant brought joy into the lives of many people.
He is missed everyday and will continue to missed everyday. [back...]
